Visual Design Work:
1994-2004 Created original Persian miniature and contemporary artwork for private sale. Art recognized as the "Best of Boston" in 2003 by Mayor Thomas M. Menino and the Office of Cultural Affairs.
1980-85 Developed thirteen posters that were sold internationally and featured in the New York Art Expo.
1973-75 Founder of Ava Company, creating handmade images for children. Clients included Filene's and Bloomingdale's.
Promotional Design:
1999 Freelance designer for Ralph Lauren, producing promotional hand-painted fragrance bottles.
1998-00 Exhibitor at the Surtex Show in New York for three consecutive years. Designed packaging for Pure-ific, Hand Products and Evia water filters.
1994-04 Freelance designer of promotional packaging for fragrance bottles, t-shirts, and clay pottery. Clients included Calvin Klein and Lancôme.

1996 Illustrator of The Monkey Bridge, a children's picture book, for Knopf publishers, New York, NY. One
of the 30 selected books (from 500) exhibited at Norman Rockwell Museum.
1992 Illustrator of Babri, a children's picture book, for Gibbs Smith Publishers, Salt Lake City, UT. Received distinction by The Society of Children's Writers and Illustrators.
